====> The documentation is online <===
How to use it: ==============
user who wish to use it should execute the following command (just once):
touch ~/.use_imsl
This activate the environments variables you need by the next login. In order to make it effective immediately, please type:
source ~/.login
After it: To read the documentation online you should first be in the OpenWindows environment (X-windows) and then type:
${AC_HELP}/iptdoc &
The whole software is in /usr/local/vni
Have fun. Ciao Ray
P.S. I cannot help you for questions regarding the procedures in the IMSL libraries. Please look at the online documentation.
2) Reminder about IMSL and the environment variables
Hello
I would like to remind you that in order to use the IMSL library you have been asked to put an empty file in your home directory with the command:
touch ~/.use_imsl
This has a consequence, that each time you source ".login" quite a lot of environment variables will be defined.
Thus: if you do not need IMSL delete this file:
rm ~/.use_imsl
to avoid unnecessary huge list of environment variables.
